Camera Shots.

Long Shot (LS) - Often used to make the subject in the frame look smaller and out of focus so we can't see the feautures, therefore we are unable to make a judgement of the person and see if they look good or bad.

Medium Shot (MS) - Usually set as the standard camera shot, normally when they are talking.

Close Up (CU) -  This shot is used to show the facial expression of the character in shot, setting a mood for the audience.

Vox Pop Audience Research

Vox Pop Audience Research.

We used the Media technique of 'Vox Pops' to see;

Where they watch films,
When was the last time they watched a film,
With what media they watched the film,
Their favourite genres and why their chosen genre was their favourite.

We asked four fellow students to take part in our audience research and we found that all of the answers varied. We decided to use two people from each gender and all at the age of 16-17 because we thought it would be a fair questionnaire.

In order to Improve this Vox Pop we could have asked many more people of different ages and backgrounds, and also asked more questions.
